Reviewer's Thoughts:

It's always nice to see a new idea amoungst a plethora of reruns and redos. This map is definatley a change from the norm and takes place inside of a submarine base somewhere in either the North or South pole (the cold water kills you!). I was impressed to see that the author took a crack at making a submarine, and did a pretty good job! (despite a few minor BSP holes). The atmosphere of the map was good and had features one would imagine to be in such a base, but I feel it could have been greatly improved if the texturing was done better. I liked the layout of the map, and found there to me many escape routes in any given location and the map had a good "flow". The geometry was good as well and seemed realistic. My only complaint with this one is that inventory placement is stategic but somewhat sparse (especially health), making it more a game of running from the guy with the ammo instead of fighting back.

Scoring Breakdown:

Ambience: 7.5/10
Geometry: 8.0/10
Texturing: 7.5/10
Lighting: 8.0/10
Inventory: 6.5/10
Playability: 8.5/10

TOTAL = 46/60
